Do you have an excellent memory for faces? Are you able to recognise people you’ve only met once before? If so, you might be a super recogniser.
Super recognisers are people who have an extraordinary ability to identify faces, even in situations where most people would struggle.
This talent is not the same as having an average memory for faces – super recognisers can recognise people with incredible accuracy, even if they only see them for a brief moment or from an unusual angle.
If you think you might be a super recogniser, then take this memory test and find out.
The memory test
The following test will test your ability to recognise faces. It consists of two parts:.
Part one
In this part of the test, you will be shown 20 faces, one at a time. Each face will be shown for 10 seconds. After each face is shown, you will be asked a question about it.
For example, you might be asked to identify the person’s eye colour or hair style.
It is important to pay close attention to each face, as the questions will be detailed. This means that you need to be able to remember the details of each face.
Part two
In the second part of the test, you will be shown 20 faces again, but this time you will only see each face for 5 seconds. After each face is shown, you will need to identify the person from a lineup of 5 other faces.
It is important to look closely at each face and try to remember as many details as possible, as this will help you to identify the correct person in the lineup.
Scoring:
Part one: 1 point for each correct answer.
Part two: 2 points for each correct answer.
For example, if you correctly identify the person in the lineup, you will receive 2 points. If you correctly identify the person’s eye color in the first part, you will receive 1 point.
Good luck with the test, and have fun!.
