Are you someone who has ever wondered if you have psychopathic tendencies? Do you find yourself empathizing less with others and more with yourself? Do you find happiness in causing harm to others, either physically or emotionally? If these questions constantly plague your mind, then it might be possible that you have a bit of a psychopath inside you. Take this simple test below to find out if, indeed, you are a Closeted Psychopath.

Test Guidelines

The following test is curated to analyze the tendency and mindset of a person when faced with certain scenarios. The test will have a total of ten questions, and it does not require a lot of time.

It’s essential to go through the questions carefully and respond as honestly as possible. Remember, no one will know the answers except you, so there’s no need for hiding anything.

The Test Begins!

1) Have you ever wished or fantasized about killing someone? Before you respond, remember that the question is different from actual actions but rather focuses on your thoughts.

2) Do you enjoy watching gory or violent TV shows/movies that depict hurting or harming other individuals?.

3) Are you someone who enjoys manipulating people for their personal gain, emotionally or financially?.

4) Do you ever think people around you overreact or become too emotional too easily?.

5) Have you ever tried to harm yourself or other individuals?.

6) Do you ever feel guilty for your actions or decisions?.

7) Are you someone who can be charming and friendly with others but can turn hostile in moments when things don’t work out in their favor?.

9) Are you someone who can switch emotions quickly?.

10) Ever wished to have power and control over others, even in your wildest dreams?.

Evaluating the Test

After answering all the questions honestly, you must have received a glimpse of the closeted psychopath that we’re discussing here. If the number of affirmative answers is between 1-3, you have a healthy mindset.

The more the affirmative answers, the more likely it is that you need to consult a psychiatrist to keep your psychological health in check.

Result Time

The result of the test is here. If you answered one, two, or three questions with a “yes,” then congratulations, you have a normal mindset that does not lean in any way towards a psychopath.

On the other hand, if you answered more than three questions with a nod, then you might want to consider consulting a professional psychiatrist to see if you need help with your mindset and emotions.

Conclusion

It’s essential to keep in mind that these tests are not diagnostic, and consulting a mental health professional would be the best suggestion if you’re dealing with psychological issues.

Being self-aware and making sure our mindset is healthy and positive is our responsibility, and we must take it seriously.
