The young girl’s journey with anxiety began in her sophomore year of high school. She started experiencing panic attacks, which would leave her feeling overwhelmed, breathless and lightheaded.

She became afraid to leave the house and avoided social events.

When she first started feeling anxious, she didn’t understand what was happening to her. It wasn’t until after she was diagnosed with anxiety that she began to understand her condition.

She started seeing a therapist who helped her identify triggers for her anxiety, and techniques to manage it. She also started taking medication to help regulate her anxiety.

The Fear of Social Situations

One of the most difficult things for the young girl was facing social situations. Her anxiety made her feel self-conscious and paranoid in public, and she found it difficult to participate in group activities.

Her social anxiety left her feeling isolated and alone, which only reinforced her feelings of hopelessness and helplessness.

Despite her fear of social situations, the young girl continued to attend school. She found it helpful to stick to a routine and create a schedule that allowed her to manage her anxiety.

The Loneliness of Anxiety

Anxiety is a journey, one that is often full of ups and downs. The young girl still experiences anxiety from time to time, but she feels more equipped to handle it now.
