The researchers found that the frequency of saying “I love you” varies widely across age groups and locations. The study revealed that people in the United States say “I love you” more frequently than people in other countries.

About 72% of the participants from the United States said they say “I love you” at least once a week. In the United Kingdom, about 50% of the participants said they say “I love you” at least once a week. And in Canada, about 63% of the participants said they say “I love you” weekly.

The study also found that people in different age groups have different habits of saying “I love you.” Younger people are more likely to say “I love you” more frequently than older people.

The researchers found that 78% of the participants aged 18-25 say “I love you” at least once a week, while only 52% of the participants aged 55 and above said the same.

Factors Influencing Saying “I Love You”

The research team discovered that several factors influence the frequency of saying “I love you.” One of the significant factors is one’s relationship status.

About 65% of women who participated in the study said they say “I love you” at least once a day compared to only 45% of men.
