Mexican Quesadillas with Beef & Metsovone

Are you a lover of Mexican cuisine? Do you crave for tasty and spicy food? Then you are in the right place! I am going to share with you a scrumptious recipe for Mexican Quesadillas with beef & Metsovone cheese.

: Ingredients

  • 1 lb of beef, sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup of shredded Metsovone cheese
  • 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup of sour cream

: Instructions

1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.

2. Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes or until the beef is cooked through.

3. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add diced onion and sauté until soft, about 3-5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

4. Add sliced red and green bell peppers to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Add the cooked beef back into the skillet and stir in lime juice. Remove the skillet from heat and set aside.

5. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place one flour tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle with shredded Metsovone cheese. Spoon about 1/4 of the beef and pepper mixture onto one half of the tortilla. Sprinkle chopped cilantro on top.

Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling.
