For the beef patties:.
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. garlic powder

For the stuffing:.
- 4 medium tomatoes
- 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions

2. Cut the tops off the tomatoes and scoop out the seeds and flesh, leaving only the tomato shells. Dice the tomato flesh into small pieces and set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
4. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and flatten each one into a patty shape.
5. Spoon some diced tomato and shredded mozzarella cheese onto the center of 4 of the patties, leaving a border around the edge.
6. Top the tomato and cheese with the remaining beef patties and press the edges together to seal.
7. Place the stuffed burgers on the grill or grill pan and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the beef is cooked through.
8. Serve hot on buns with your favorite burger toppings.
