Ingredients
For octopus:.
- 1 kg of octopus (cleaned and cut into small pieces)
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
For vinegar sauce:.
- 1/2 cup of white wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 1 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1 tbsp of cornstarch
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp of grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Cook octopus
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for a few seconds until fragrant. Add the octopus pieces and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until they turn pink and slightly curled.
Sprinkle some salt and pepper to taste and mix well. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 2: Prepare vinegar sauce
In a saucepan, combine the white wine vinegar, water, honey, and soy sauce. Whisk to mix well. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
