: Ingredients

  • 1 pound fusilli pasta
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup fresh Vasilica leaves
  • 1/2 cup toasted pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  7. If the pasta seems too dry, add some of the reserved cooking water, a tablespoon at a time, until it reaches your desired consistency.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and pine nuts if desired.
