1. Brush and Floss Regularly

The most effective way to prevent bad breath is by maintaining good oral hygiene. Brush your teeth at least twice a day, preferably after meals. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste to remove food particles and plaque.

Don’t forget to brush your tongue as well, as it can harbor bacteria that cause bad breath.

In addition to brushing, flossing is equally important in removing food debris between teeth where your toothbrush can’t reach. Floss at least once a day to keep your teeth and gums healthy and your breath fresh.

2. Use Mouthwash

Mouthwash can help freshen your breath by killing bacteria that cause bad breath. Choose an alcohol-free mouthwash that contains fluoride and antimicrobial ingredients such as chlorhexidine or cetylpyridinium chloride.

Rinse your mouth with mouthwash after brushing and flossing to kill any remaining bacteria.

3. Drink Plenty of Water

4. Watch What You Eat
