Antioxidants are essential nutrients that protect our bodies from harmful chemicals known as free radicals. Free radicals can wreak havoc inside our bodies and cause diseases such as cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and many others.
To protect ourselves from these diseases, we need to eat a diet rich in antioxidants.
