3. Passing Tissue or Clots
You may pass tissue or clots during a miscarriage. This may be accompanied by cramping or abdominal pain. The tissue may be grayish in color and may resemble a small sac or a ball.
4. Decrease in Pregnancy Symptoms
A decrease in pregnancy symptoms, such as nausea and breast tenderness, may occur in some women who are having a miscarriage. This may occur suddenly or gradually over time.
5. Back Pain
Back pain may be felt in the lower back and may be a sign of a miscarriage. It may be accompanied by cramping or abdominal pain.
6. Fever
A fever may occur with a miscarriage, especially if there is an infection. The fever may be accompanied by other symptoms such as chills and fatigue.
7. Loss of Pregnancy Symptoms
A sudden loss of pregnancy symptoms, such as nausea and fatigue, may be a sign of a miscarriage. This may occur before any other symptoms mentioned above.
8. Spotting
Spotting may occur before vaginal bleeding and may be a sign of a miscarriage. It may be light or dark in color and may be accompanied by cramping or abdominal pain.
9. Feeling Something is Wrong
Sometimes, a woman may just feel that something is wrong with her pregnancy. She may feel uneasy or have a sense of foreboding.
10. Positive Pregnancy Test Followed by Negative Pregnancy Test
A positive pregnancy test followed by a negative pregnancy test may be a sign of a miscarriage. This may occur if the pregnancy has stopped developing and hormone levels have decreased.
