Steak Skewers: Today’s Special Recipe

: Ingredients

  • 1 pound of sirloin steak
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 8-10 wooden skewers
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

: Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Soak the wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes to prevent them from burning on the grill.
  3. Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes.
  4. Peel and cut the onion into large pieces.
  5. Remove the seeds and stem from the red and green bell pepper, and cut them into 1-inch squares.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, honey, and salt and pepper to form a marinade.
  7. Thread the steak, onion, and bell pepper onto the wooden skewers, alternating between the ingredients.
  8. Brush the skewers with the marinade.
  9. Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping them occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your liking.
  10. Remove the skewers from the grill and serve hot.

  • If you don’t have access to a grill, you can also cook these skewers on a griddle pan or in the oven at 400°F for 10-12 minutes.
  • For a spicier kick, add some red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the marinade.
